The Philosophy Department publishes three journals.
A revista Ensaios Filosóficos é uma publicação acadêmica eletrônica que tem como objetivo contribuir para a produção filosófica brasileira, sendo um espaço para apresentação de pesquisas e debates produzidos no país.
A revista conta com o apoio dos professores e do LLPEFIL (Laboratório de Licenciatura e Pesquisa sobre o Ensino da Filosofia) e abre mais uma possibilidade de consulta para os estudantes e professores de todo o país.
The magazine Under Construction: archives of historical epistemology and science studies is a journal of the Graduate Program in Philosophy at UERJ, and intends to consolidate itself as a serial periodical of scientific, academic and cultural character, published in digital format and edited every six months.
It aims to publish unpublished material in the form of articles and critical reviews, as well as translations and interviews that are in accordance with the journal's requirements, so that they remain consistent with the subject's specialty, namely those of historical epistemology and science studies.
Thus, the magazine Em Construção intends to assert itself at the very limit between philosophical discourse and scientific practice, so that knowledge can be generated through this encounter.

The magazine Ekstasis: Journal of Hermeneutics and Phenomenology is a serial scientific and academic journal. It aims to publish unpublished materials in the form of articles and reviews, as well as translations from the hermeneutic-phenomenological theoretical framework.
